What is a Hosted Buyer?

A high-level decision maker with authority or direct influence on budgetary decisions regarding events, meetings, business travel, incentives, exhibitions, conferences, and training programmes.

Qualification Criteria

There are certain criteria on which we select our Hosted Buyers, such as:

• decision making level/ purchasing authority
• number of national events per year
• number of international events per year
• budget for events

Bear in mind that at the moment, EMIF can only accept Hosted Buyers from Europe.

What is included in the Hosted Buyer Scheme?

• Economy flight (or train journey) to & from Brussels
• Hotel accommodation for 1 night
• All transfers between airport/ station, hotel and EMIF
• Interesting seminars by key note speakers
• The opportunity to visit the trade show and meet high-quality suppliers face to face
• VIP lunch
• VIP Dinner & Networking event on the evening of the 17th
• Refreshing drinks and snacks in between seminars
•  And of course: a visit to complete yet manageable fair where Hosted Buyers don’t have to rush from one appointment to the next

Who takes care of my itinerary?

Once you're accepted as a Hosted Buyer, just sit back!
EMIF will sort out your travel arrangements and hotel. We will get in touch with you well before the show with details on your traveling schedule.

What am I committing to?

In case of cancellation

Needless to say; we highly value our Hosted Buyers. Therefore; we are happy to invest a lot of time and resources into making a visit to EMIF as comfortable as possible.

However, in the case of a 'no show' (someone who does not give prior notice of cancellation, and does not attend the show) we will have to enforce a 'no show fee'.

* Cancellations after Monday the 1st of March will be subject to this fee.
* Your cancellation will be effective after receiving a written notice by EMIF.
